Our Roots
After the re-launch of The White Horse a year ago, major changes has taken place. Our service offer is now bigger than ever including our Village Shop, Pub, Restaurant, Plants, Fruit & Veg, Cafe, Doughnut and Ice cream from our outside catering and Takeaway. Thanks to our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to become masters of the craft. Providing dishes that are fresh, hearty and simply unforgettable under the regime of our new Head Chef Steven Barber.

Inspired by travel and a passion for different cultures, White Horse Corton has a vast menu of culinary delights, utilizing the freshest ingredients to bring homemade dishes straight to your table with local produced Beer, quality Lagers, wines and great selection of Spirits. Our outside area
This year we have extended our outside area so everyone can enjoy sitting outside while having their food and drinks while enjoying the weather on the East Coast side of England (as far east as you can come).
And for the younger ones!
As well as keeping the adults entertained, our playground will keep the younger ones entertained while you can supervise them knowing that your younger ones have great fun in a safe dedicated area.

My husband and I were served a fantastic meal this evening . The food was amazing , well presented and cooked perfectly . Served by friendly and attentive staff .
Tonight it was just the 2 of us but we have been equally well served when we’ve visited with our family.
Nothing to fault , it’s a hidden gem providing a great restaurant experience as well as a fine local pub which we would highly recommend for any occasion.

Staying at caravan park we phoned up to book table with 2 hours notice and they were able to fit us in.Table for two and will return in future with family as they had toddler toys in garden as well as lovely food.I ordered the ribs and hubby ordered the chicken and ribs.Both enjoyed our meals I loved the ribs as they had a lot of meat on compared to most places.From the caravan park the phone signal is bad and couldn't hear each other but had no problem getting a table.Thankyou for the lovely food

We were staying at a nearby caravan site, we booked the white horse for Sunday lunch and they were so accommodating. Arranged us in the outdoor marquee as there was 16 of us all from one family, and we stayed on to watch the euro final. The staff were incredible, looking after our every demand and going over above, shout out to Tasha and Oliver inparticular, great food , amazing chips! and service that was second to none. Thank you all at the White Horse we really appreciate it.

I have now been in The White Horse twice and I most definitely will return! The food is absolutely wonderful, as a vegetarian I find it very hard to find a good vegetarian burger and I was not disappointed with this delicious veggie burger! The staff are fantastic and very friendly, you always feel welcomed and their patter is on point! If you’re in the area I highly recommend, it’s a lovely clean, covid safe place to eat and have a drink. Next time I will definitely venture for one of their delicious looking cakes! Thank you very much to the staff of White Horse for making my time there absolutely fabulous!
